We’ve all      become sensitive about supporting our own industries. That is until we get to the box      office. A look at two concerts with the “American” label on them show that music by      American composers may only be half, if that much, of the content....click here to read      the full story.

NEW SEASON AT MANN FEATURES A 'JUMPIN' CLASSICAL PROGRAM

The Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall in Fort Myers equates itself with upbeat,

high-energy contemporary performance offerings. A little thumbing through the

2007-2008 series, however, produces some fine arts that match Naples in every

way. The classics are jumpin’ this year, due in part to the Southwest Florida

Symphony’s new young music director, Michael Hall... click here to read the full story.
