Our Concert Season
The Southwest Florida Symphony is Lee County’s only fully professional orchestra and is one of the oldest symphony orchestras in the state of Florida. For more than half a century, the Southwest Florida Symphony has grown to a roster of 70 world-class musicians. Each season, our musicians present a series of four Masterworks concerts, two Pops concerts, several Holiday Pops concerts and a series of TinyConcerts™ that span Lee, Collier and Charlotte counties.
Masterworks
Our signature concert series, Masterworks, are classical performances featuring a full symphony orchestra and world renowned guest artists. This season, all Masterworks performances include guest conductors who will visit with us to get to know Southwest Florida from on and off the stage while we seek our next Music Director. Learn More>
Brave New POPS
Appropriately billed, Pops performances range from Big Band and Broadway to Rock & Roll, Disco, film soundtracks and more. Of course, we always include our traditional Holiday Pops: Christmas in Paradise, in every season’s offerings. Learn More>
TinyConcerts™
These much more intimate performances include TinyPops™, MiniMasterworks™ and Brave New Chamber Music™ concerts, visit multiple venues throughout Lee, Charlotte and Collier Counties and feature a variety of guest artists and ensembles of no more than nine musicians, delivering a “concert in your very own living room” vibe. Get Involved
There are many ways to support the Southwest Florida Symphony!
Did you know it takes much more than ticket sales to bring orchestral music to Southwest Florida each year? Ticket sales cover only 40% of the Symphony’s annual expenses. The remaining 60% is provided by charitable contributions from friends like you, businesses, foundations and grants.
