The SWFLSO is a regional per-service orchestra serving Fort Myers and the Greater Lee County community.
One-page resumes and a $50 refundable deposit must be received by March 29th for horn/trombone and by April 20th for bassoon.

Per-service rates for the 2022-23 season are:
• Principa:l $173.24
• Section: $142.
Per our current contract, there is a minimum service guarantee of 18 services per season, however most musicians are offered 35+ services in a typical season. All musicians traveling more than 50 miles one way are entitled to a $40 per diem for every day there is a service and may also receive an additional $50 daily housing stipend provided they submit their receipt for commercial housing (such as hotel or AirBnb). Limited host housing may also be available upon request.
All winning candidates are required to show proof of eligibility to work in the US. Musicians of the SWFSO are currently working under terms and conditions unilaterally implemented by the Employer. There is no collective bargaining agreement currently in effect between the SWFSO and Local 427-721.
