We can`t wait to bring Santa`s Serenade to three amazing venues this season!

This year`s Holiday Pops will feature the return of beloved guest artist Maestro Andrew Lipke with his guitar, piano skills, conductor’s baton, songwriting prowess and ugly sweater collection to delight the community he calls “his home away from home.”

Under Lipke’s direction, the orchestra will take audiences on an unforgettable journey through a host of various classic holiday songs in search of what makes them so timeless. Along the way, patrons will be invited to join in as the symphony explores an instrumental mash-up of traditional themes blended with holiday favorites featuring brand new lyrics.

Concerts will be held at:
Dec. 9 at 7 p.m.: Fort Myers Senior High School
Dec. 10 at 4 p.m.: First Presbyterian Church, Bonita Springs
Dec. 11 at 7 p.m.: The Village Church at Shell Point, Fort Myers

Grammy award-winning artist Charles Yang will join the Southwest Florida Symphony for "Beethoven No. 5 and the British Invasion" on Saturday, Jan. 6 at Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall .

This spectacular concert will feature one of Beethoven’s most well-known symphonic pieces and the most recognizable piece of classical music in history, “Symphony No. 5 in C minor,” as well as a mix of classical and contemporary favorites such as “Blackbird” by the Beatles, “House of the Rising Sun” by the Animals, “Tzigane” by Maurice Ravel, “Csárdás” by Vittorio Monti and “Entr’acte” by famed composer Caroline Shaw.

Southwest Florida Symphony is returning to Fort Myers Senior High School for a special Holiday Pops concert on Saturday, Dec. 9!

The symphony will be joined by local favorite guest artist Maestro Andrew Lipke for an incredible evening of classic holiday songs, including an extraordinary blues version of “I’ll be Home for Christmas” which features a surprise guest soloist, to commemorate the orchestra’s homecoming to the beloved venue.

Southwest Florida Symphony, formerly the Fort Myers Symphony, held its premier concert at the Fort Myers Senior High School auditorium on April 15, 1961, conducted by the founding Music Director Arlo Deibler and assisted by members of the Florida West Coast Symphony Orchestra.

Members of the symphony will be performing alongside internationally-acclaimed soprano Heather Ivy.
